Art with Natural Materials, Monday 28th Sept
This evening all the cubs created Art with Natural Materials as part of their Naturalist Badge. Below are pictures of their work.

Gold!
Last Thursday we were very pleased to welcome our District Commissioner, David Wilson, to our Group AGM and badge-giving ceremony.
We were also extremely proud that he was there to award five of our Scouts the Chief Scout's Gold Award, the highest award for a Scout and the first time it has been awarded at Balfron.
Unfortunately one Scout was busy performing in a local play but the other four were their with their families in the audience (we'll be sure to get a photo of our missing Scout as soon as possible).
...and it wasn't just the Scouts that received awards. Two of our leaders, Ceri and Gage, received their wood badge - for completing all their leadership training - and two leaders, Gage again and Eileen, received their 5-year service award.
Well done to everyone for these great achievements.
